How Alglo Vera Began

I started making Alglo Vera intially to maintain my natural hair care routine after doing the "big chop", a process of which you drastically "chop" off the damaged and processed parts of your mane in efforts of growing back healthy natural hair. It helped to soothe my scalp and I noticed that my hair loved the richness of the "gel" that I had created. I began to use it regularly on my hair including protective styles and eventually I began applying it onto my face as well.
During this time, my mother would break out into seasonal hives. So I decided to prepare a jar for her. It soothed her intstantly and by the next day her hives had calmed and drastically improved. Her resoponse was "Rikkii, you need to bottle this up and sell it." That statement was the catalyst the grew an entire product line and has healed more people than I can count.
